Figgkidd winning the prestigious BEST NEW TALENT AWARD:
R&B songstress Jade MacRae and Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian have taken out some of the top gongs at the inaugural Urban Music Awards in Sydney.
The awards, voted for by the public, are a celebration of urban music in Australia and New Zealand, and encompass hip hop, R&B and soul genres.
At a ceremony in Sydney tonight, Guy Sebastian received awards for best male artist and best video clip for his single Oh Oh.
Jade MacRae was named best female artist, and also took out the best R&B album category with Superstar.
Adelaide hip hop outfit the Hilltop Hoods got the gong for best hip hop group, and New Zealand artist Savage won the best R&B single and best hip hop album for Moonshine.
American rapper Kanye West was voted the best international act, and the best new talent award went to Sydney performer FiggKidd.
